Advantages and Disadvantages of LP Gas Gensets

Advantages:

• Extended shelf life for fuel
• Burns cleaner
• Engines last longer due to clean burning fuel 
• Easy to acquire during power outages
• Quieter system

Disadvantages:

• Can be dangerous if handled improperly, due to pressurized flammable gas 
• May require large tank that can be unattractive unless installed below ground
